Back To School Supplies Haul 2017 ♡

Hey guys!

Now I know this is like super ironic since my last post was about summer but yeah. 😉

Welcome back!! Today I am super excited because BACK TO SCHOOL SEASON HAS OFFICIALLY STARTED!! Yey!! Ok, I am a serious supply nerd. I love ALL things stationary and that’s why I love the back to school season. And don’t forget the outfits, DIYs, and new makeup rituals. Anyways, today I am going to be showing you guys all of my back to school supplies that I bought!! Yay!!
P.S: I got all of my supplies from Target

Ok, I might have gotten wayy to many supplies but a girl can never have too many supplies! So this year I am going to be doing the same things that I did last year which was NO BINDERS. Ok so here is my logic. Having a different binder for each class is the stupidest idea EVER so I obvi. ain’t going to do that. The second idea is having a big-ass(scuse me for lang.) where you have to pull it out for every single class 5 times. So this year I am sticking to folders and notebooks!! Yay I am so pumped!

So this year for my backpack I decided to go super simple. I got this Jansport backpack from Tilly’s and I really plan on using this backpack for awhile so I got the color black. I may be sewing on some patches but I’m not sure.

Notebooks, Folders, and more crap

So this year I got this 6 pocket expanding file from Five Star for holding all of my old papers. I don’t know if I will be keeping this at home or bringing it with me because I really like to look at my old papers and such when I am studying for a test or something.

Now I just have a ton of notebooks. I am going to be color coding everything so I am going to be using orange for history, green for science, red for Spanish, yellow for math(I got 2 because I go through them fast) and pink for English. I will be using the black and white one for doodles and stuff when I am bored.

I got 6 folders. I got the normal color coded ones(the green is totally off) and I got an extra white one. I got it because I always need extra sheets of paper and I don’t feel like ripping them out so I will just store my lined papers in that white folder.

I also got some notebook/binder/lined/ruled/loose-leaf paper.(There are so many names!) I just got the cheap kind so it isn’t amazing quality but whatever.

So I got 3 types of pencils. I first got my favorite pencils of all time, which are the Paper Mate clear point pencils. Next, I just got the cheap mechanical pencils to give out to people when they ask me for pencils(savage) and I also got some wooden pencils for that teacher that always asks for them.

Then, I got some erasers because you know, they’re erasers.

So then I got some highlighters. I really wanted to get the one with yellow, orange, pink, and blue, but this one was the only one left. Since I was shopping so early, there wasn’t a lot of supplies because I couldn’t even find flair pens!

I also got some whiteout. Whiteout is a necessity and I literally hate the tape roller kinds because they just unravel and are just so annoying.

I got some pens. I got my favorite ones and I really wanted the 8 pack but it wasn’t there (thx target) so I just got these. Teachers always hate the clicky ones and I just love all of the bright and vibrant colors on these ones.

Then I got a pencil sharpener to sharpen pencils. Yeah.

I got some index cards because they’re very useful for studying but the downside was that there weren’t any index card holders so that was sad 😦

A planner because school ones are very crappy and this one is literally so cute. It has the same pattern on the inside and the fonts are just great and this one will remind me of summer all year.

I also got a pencil case. I got a really small one because this will just hold my necessities and I will have a second one for all of my other things like extra highlighters and such.

Next, I just have a couple of supplies from last year like post-its and a mini stapler. Also, does anyone have any idea on how to refill the mini stapler? I just can’t do it.

Anyways, I really hoped you guys enjoyed my back to school haul 2017! I really enjoyed it and I hope you guys did too! Expect more coming up!♡

Summer Lookbook 2017

Hey Guys!

Welcome back! Today it is (*checks date*) July 11th which means for me only 33 days left of summer vacation for me. This is the first year I have actually really appreciated the rest that I have gotten.

Anyways, before summer comes to a halt, I decided why not create a lookbook of fashion! This lookbook, however, will not express the trends that summer has had, but instead, it will show how my style has changed. I hope to come back to this blog post and laugh about my fashion choices, or how hard I tried to copy other people. So why don’t we just get on started!

1. Tropical Vacation

Ok, so my first look is called Tropical Vacation. This look was really going for bright colors, mostly orange, but it had to be simple. I just love high waisted shorts and the print is gorgeous on them. I just paired it with a simple halter top and some bright orange nails. The 2 items that really bring the outfit together, however, are the nude wedges and this gorgeous and elegant bracelet.

2. Festival Fashion

This next look is inspired my music festivals, namely Coachella. I just love tie front shirts, especially this one because its denim, and I paired with some simple denim shorts. I added a fringe bag(no festival look is complete without it)and a pair of gladiator sandals. For accessories, I paired it with a bow-tie choker, golden hoops, and a flower crown to finish off the look.

3. Ready, Set, Swim!

This last look is a beachwear look. For the swimsuit, took a halter top with cutouts and paired it with a simple white bikini bottom. I took this absolutely amazing blue and white romper as a cover up and added some thong sandals. To finish it off, add a pair of sunglasses and a swipe of waterproof mascara.

There you have it! My summer lookbook 2017! Really hope you guys enjoyed!! Bye!!

Does This Hack Work? – Testing out the vinegar-paintbrush Hack!

Hey guys!

I am literally so sorry I haven’t posted in such a long time!! I have had a serious case of writer’s block, but today I am back w/ a new post! Today on All in One we are going to be testing out a hack. I am starting a new series where I test out a life hack and see if it actually works!!

Attachment-1 (2)

Today’s hack I randomly found on Pinterest while I was scrolling through and it said to get back soft paintbrushes after they turn hard and crispy was pretty easy, you just let them sit in a bowl of vinegar for 30 min! I found this hard to believe so I went ahead and tried it! Let’s see what the results were!

Attachment-1 (2)

As you can see from above I had a couple of paintbrushes that were really dirty. I even had one covered in dried Mod Podge(left one) and I wanted to see if this would work on glue. The others have acrylic paint on them. I searched up other ways to get the paint off but it said use fabric softener or boil your vinegar so I resorted to the easier way.

Attachment-1For the vinegar, I just used some distilled cooking vinegar that I found in my kitchen. Buy it here.

I poured the vinegar into a bowl and let my paint brushes sit in there. I filled it so that the brush part of all of the brushes were in the vinegar.

I waited for 30 min and then took a look at them. They were definitely softer. I couldn’t take a picture after because my camera died, but I ran them under water and the one with red paint on it became like a normal brush but still had the paint on it. The 2 white ones were restored after running it under water and then the Mod Podge one was still weird. It was softer but when I ran it under water the glue seemed to be scratching off but it still wasn’t the same.

Negative or Positive?

Positive. I think this is positive even though it didn’t work w/ the Mod Podge.

S’well Waterbottles: Worth It or nah?

Hey everyone!

Welcome back! Today,  I am going to be reviewing a popular/trendy item called a S’well water bottle.(Visit their site here.) I have seriously seen so many of these, my dance teacher has one, kids at school have them, I see them at the gym or even at Jazzercise classes(I don’t take them, it’s just fun to watch the choreo.) Anyways, I decided to buy one and see what the fad(I’m the only one who uses the word ‘fad’) is! Here, I show you guys what the product is and give you my own personal opinion on these waterbottles.

Worth it, or nah?

Anyways, that is the picture of the S’well waterbottle I own. It is in the teakwood style and you can buy it here.

So before we start this review, let’s start with some knowledge of S’well. S’well was founded by Sara Kauss, and her mission was to get rid of plastic waterbottles and introduce a gorgeous, yet efficient waterbottle to the world. So S’well began in 2010.

S’well creates a lot of gorgeous waterbottles and the special thing about them is that they are advertised keep your water cool for 24 hours and hot for 12. It is triple walled and the opening is a specific size where you can drink comfortably but still put crescent-shaped ice cubes in them.

They come in 9 oz(cup of coffee), 17 oz(standard bottle size), and as well as 25 oz(bottle of wine). S’well waterbottles are also like collectibles because S’well adds new designs but also pulls the plug on others.

I have been using my new S’well waterbottle for around 2 weeks now, and it does really work! I have left it outside for 9+ overs in 80 degree days, and the water was still ice cold. To even add to that, my ice was still in there, solid. I will also love using this waterbottle during the cold months as a thermos because I hate drinking cold or room temperature water if it is less than 65 degrees outside.

Overall, I think S’well bottles are definitely worth the price, because, 1, they are absolutely gorgeous, and 2, they do work!
